As from 1^st October 2023 we are not accepting new patient registrations.

All other GP practices in Sutton are accepting new patient registrations, and local practices with a similar catchment area to The Grove Road Practice include Robin Hood Lane Health Centre and the Old Court House Surgery.

Non English Speakers

These fact sheets have been written to explain the role of UK health services, the National Health Service (NHS), to newly-arrived individuals seeking asylum. They cover issues such as the role of GPs, their function as gatekeepers to the health services, how to register and how to access emergency services.

Special care has been taken to ensure that information is given in clear language, and the content and style has been tested with user groups.

We are proud to be a ‘Safe Surgery’ for everyone in our community. All are welcome.

Everyone in the UK has the right to free care from a GP. If you don’t have proof of ID or address, you can still register. Immigration status or nationality don’t matter -reception won’t ask for immigration documents and won’t share your information with the Home Office unless serious crime is involved.

In partnership with Doctors of the World UK, we will ensure that our practice offers a welcoming space for everyone who seeks to use our services. Don’t have documents? Don’t worry.

If you wish to register, please speak to a member of staff who can help and support you with the process of registration. Ask reception for an interpreter if you find it difficult to communicate in English
